It is with great sadness, we report the passing of Peter Tribe from Covid 19.
Peter served Epsom Coaches as a driver for many years from the 70’s through to his retirement in the 90’s. He was widely admired for his knowledge and good nature, Peter would help anyone. As an experienced Coach Driver and fanatical cricket fan he was a natural to drive the Australian cricket team on their tour of the UK in 1981. Peter was nicknamed “Geezer” by the team and following a summer of touring with the team, he was invited to stay with them at their homes in Australia. On the last night of the tour, Peter was presented with an airline ticket as an expression of their appreciation.
Peter was a regular attendee at Epsom Coaches staff reunions, but sadly we now only have pleasant memories. We send our sincere condolences to Peter’s wife Georgia and to his family.
