Mark Durbridge RIP
It is with sadness we must report the passing of Mark Durbridge after a short illness. Mark was involved with Epsom Coaches for many years as our first cleaning contractor, as well as being an integral part of the firm, with both his daughter Kelly and son Lewis working with us. Mark has been taken far too soon.
Steve Whiteway recalled “Mark and I go back a long way when he offered his services as our first vehicle cleaning contractor. Prior to that, drivers cleaned their own bus in the early days of our bus operation! Taking this on was no small task especially as we were expanding so quickly. But Mark took it all in his stride and delivered everything he promised and more. Always a great character I have fond memories particularly of a client/supplier dinner we had in London when I discovered so much more of Mark’s fascinating life. He worked hard and played hard, just as it should be. As a bonus, Mark supplied Kelly as my PA and Lewis, Bodyshop supremo and much valued members of our team. The Durbridge family made a significant contribution to the firm”.
On behalf of the Epsom Coaches family, our sincere condolences to Mark’s family, he will be sorely missed.
