I am very sorry to report, that Dave Shearring has passed away.
Dave, affectionately known as “two RR’s” worked with us for many years, before he retired to Eastbourne. Dave had an infectious sense of humour which included his nickname for me as “Heir Flick”! He was a very versatile member of the team, often away on HRR tours and I fondly remember his entertaining the clients, in the evening as he was also a talented pianist. Dave famously starred, in a film with the characters of the Rainbow children’s programme, taking a group of children to the seaside for the day, He got on very well with Zippy and Bungle! Dave Shearing was one of the great characters at Epsom Coaches and will be fondly remembered for all the good times we had together. May he rest in peace.
