Yet another year has passed, as we look forward to the festive season and a New Year ahead. Sadly, we said goodbye to several of our longstanding friends as they passed on. I know we have pleasant memories and feel privileged to have known them.
Our reunion in November, saw over 100 of us get together, to relive the past and meet old friends. I hope those who were able to attend, enjoyed the evening. We will do it all again in summer 2025, watch this space!
Our home for so many years, finally opened as a Travis Perkins, a purpose for which it has proven to be very adapt. On my tour round, the Ghosts of the past were still very evident, so many happy memories. However, our bond is so much more than buildings and vehicles, we were a people business, with “our” people the most important asset. It was all very special and through the medium of social media, the web and our get togethers, that spirit continues.
