Long serving Peter Cooper, for many years a stalwart of Epsom Coaches driving team, has passed away after a long illness. Peter left us on Friday 10th October, aged 77.
Peter was a valued member of the Epsom team, not only as a driver, but frequently helped on the maintenance front and was always willing to help newcomers. His knowledge on the road was comprehensive and in no small part, he helped build the great reputation of Epsom Coaches, which has never been equalled. Peter always kept in touch with the Epsom family and will be sadly missed.
Steve Whiteway recalled. “Peter was a great friend, and he warmly welcomed me into his family when I was suffering from severe depression, back in the 1980’s. He was always supportive, and we shared so many great times. I owe a lot to Peter and his family’s support; he will be fondly remembered by everyone who knew him”.
We send our sincere condolence’s to Peter’s children, Julie, Paul, Stuart and family at this sad time.
