It with much sorrow, we advise that David Pickard passed away on 11th May 2026. David was 75 years of age. Whilst David had not been in the best of health over the past three years, this will come as a shock to his many friends at Epsom Coaches. We send our sincere condolences to David’s partner Martin and his family.
David drove coaches for the company for many years. In so many ways he represented everything that was Epsom Coaches, in his skills, his professionalism and most of all, his ability to warm to everyone he met and they to him. Steve Whiteway expressed his condolences on behalf of the company, “David is such a sad loss, he will be sorely missed, not least by Martin, but by everyone he came in to contact with. I was always delighted to see David and Martin at our various social events and to see them on their travels via Facebook. Martin looked after David so well in his final years, nobody could have done more, and David saw the world despite everything. It was an honour to have David as part of the Epsom Coaches family, He is irreplaceable, but his memory and legacy will live on in our hearts and minds”.
