Les Wernham has passed away following a brave battle with cancer.
Les was a long term stalwart of the driving team at Epsom Coaches, but was also for many years the Chief Driving Instructor and so many people owe their vocational licence to Les, who had an enviable record of success in getting people through their driving test. Not just driving, but all aspects of a drivers craft, for which Epsom Coaches were renowned.
Aside from his training duties, Les was a highly experienced tour driver, driving thousands of customers on holiday across the UK and Europe. his like will never be seen again.
Whilst Les will be sadly missed, his legacy lives on in the drivers he taught how to do the job with professionalism and always with good humour. A sentence that sums up Les Wernham very aptly.
