Graham Lumley, a long time stalwart of Epsom Coaches bus operation, Quality Line, has sadly passed away after a brave battle with cancer.
Graham joined Epsom Coaches from London Country Buses in Leatherhead at a time when the fledging Epsom Buses operation was getting underway with local routes around Epsom in the mid 80’s. The bus operation grew over the years, eventually branching out into London bus routes and in 1999, the introduction of the Quality Line brand. Graham was always the supreme professional and adapted to the huge changes made over the years. Graham also spent time as a Controller within the office and could always be relied upon to be there when needed.
After his long career with Epsom Coaches, Graham moved from Epsom to retire to Somerset. We are sad to lose Graham, who made such a great contribution to the company’s success, but have happy memories of his time with us. He will be sadly missed.
