Sadly, we must report that Mike Tattersall passed away last Saturday 10th December, Aged 72. Mike was for many years the Manager of the Company’s Travel Agency “Epsom Travel” in Epsom and later, the business was sold to Mike who then traded as “Epsom Worldchoice”.

Mike’s connection with Epsom Coaches, went far back before joining us, as one of our leading agents, running the Coop Travelcare branch in Surbiton for many years. Mike’s talent went beyond his encyclopedic knowledge of Travel, as he also held a PCV licence and worked as an Epsom Coach driver on a part time time basis.

Steve Whiteway paid tribute to Mike Tattersall “I knew Mike for over 40 years and he was unfailingly cheery and positive, always willing to lend a hand and pass on his knowledge which made him one of the most revered people in the travel business. We were lucky to have a man with so much experience to run our Epsom Travel operation, with the bonus of driving a coach or two, when needed. He organised my family holidays and was always a font of advice and suggestions. Most of all, he was a really nice person, who everyone warmed too. Mike will be missed, but never forgotten”.

We send our sincere condolences to Mike’s wife Liz and family at this sad time.
