It is my sad duty to inform you that Nancy Richmond, widow of the late Roy Richmond MBE, has died, aged 83. Nancy had dementia and had been in a care home in Ewell for some time.
Nancy Richmond along with Roy, raised many thousands for local charities, including their Butterfly Appeal, helping to establish the McMillan Cancer centre in Epsom Hospital and before that the Roy Richmond Wing at the New Cottage Hospital, at West Park. After Roy’s passing, she remained a great supporter of Epsom Coaches and its team, often attending our many social events.
Nancy leaves a great legacy for cancer suffers in the area and will be fondly remembered. Our condolences are extended to Nancy’s two sons and her wider family.
